This is a photo of the Kala Pattar group on October 26, 1997. It was taken near Khari La, on the East bank of the Dudh Kosi, about a half day's walk south of Lukla. We are at 3100 metres on our 11th day of trekking. The mountain behind is Karyolung, 6500 metres high and 15 Km away from us.
