Looking up the valley to the east as we leave the village of Dingpoche.

The highest peak from this angle is Lhotse, at 8501m, the fourth highest in the world. The peak of Mt. Everest is just seen to the left of Lhotse.

The valley contains the Imja Drangka river, and the town of Chukhung, which we got to in about 3 hours.
