Junbesi Lodge

We arrived in Junbesi after a long day's hike (12 Km) and quickly sought out our first shower. There were several modern lodges in Junbesi, which offered rooms, food and beer. After surveying all the town's facilities, we found a good shower. It turned out to be our only inside shower of the trek.

We set up camp in this grassy field, behind the lodge. This photo was taken the next morning, as the last of the tents were packed up to be carried by the porters.
